Applications that can be migrated using the ServiceNow Migration Request
📝
- Internal apps using GUM API:
Can begin migration by following the guidance to move away from GUM API. - Internal apps using GUM Groups or claims:
Ready to migrate once applicable groups are identified and the migration request form is submitted. - Internal apps using LDAP (Token Claims, Graph API, LDAP to One AD):
Migration readiness depends on following specific instructions and requesting service accounts via ServiceNow. - External apps which are NOT dependent on Client Federation.
Applications that are dependent on Client Federation
Not eligible to migrate at this time.
- The Federation Migration topic includes details of the migration approach and will contain guidance when available.
MFA Considerations
Applications which migrate to Entra ID in FY26 without MFA enabled will not require any additional application specific configuration or code changes to enforce MFA in FY27.
MFA will be applied by the Enterprise Identity service after plans for implementation are finalized and communicated. Change management activites such as communicating potential user experience changes may still be necessary depending on application requirements.
