What Is HashiCorp Vault Enterprise?ā
HashiCorp Vault Enterprise is PwCās global implementation of Secrets Management. It is an industry leading tool for managing most aspects of the secrets life cycle: Create, Read, Update and Delete (CRUD). It has been deployed within the firm as a Highly Available (HA) clustered service providing territories the ability to manage and secure highly sensitive information utilized in the Secure SDLC and their SILC.
As PwC expands its global footprint in the public cloud, a more modern, automated approach is required and HashiCorp Vault Enterprise meets and exceeds that requirement.
What Is "Secrets Management"?ā
Secrets Management is defined, within PwC, as a component of our process for securing sensitive information. It involves protecting various forms of data; including, but not limited to, passwords/credentials, service accounts and any other privileged resources.
